  • Best Project (2007): At the Fifth Summer School on Ontological Engineering and the Semantic Web (SSSW'07) I was a member of the group who was awarded with best project at the Summer School
  • Principal’s award for research (2005): In 2005 I received the UNISA Principal’s Award as best promising researcher.
  • Best paper(2003): In 2003, I presented a paper at the Fourth International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Education based on my PhD work. This paper was selected as one of the best papers and published in the Journal of Integrated Design and Process Science.
